WHEEL BALANCING

 

Having off balance tyres causes vibration to the handling of your vehicle when drove at a certain speed of about 60-80mph. wheel balancing is the compensation for any weight imbalance of a tyre. A tyre becomes out of balance when certain sections of your tyre becomes heavier than the other tyres on your vehicle.

To correctly balance your wheel, the wheel is mounted on a wheel balancing  machine, which spins the wheel at a higher speed to locate the heavier part of the wheel. The machine signals how much weight the technician should add to balance out the tyre as well as where the said weight is needed. Tyre/wheel balancing is essential for proper tire care and its overall performance.
